CALDWELL, Idaho – A goal in the 98th minute proved to be the deciding factor, as the Eastern Oregon University women's soccer team dropped a heartbreaking 1-0 decision to College of Idaho on Sunday afternoon.

Freshman forward Zoe Anderson, sophomore midfielder Makensie Forsyth, and senior forward Crystal Schuder each got three shots off for EOU.
Meanwhile, junior goalkeeper Jessica Parker registered five saves while falling to 11-2 on the season.
The Storyline
Jamiece Yizar's header in the 98th minute was the game's only tally. A free kick from 30 yards out found Summer Jackson at the back post, and although her shot was denied by Parker, Yizar swooped in for the golden goal.
EOU got six shots off in the opening stanza, but the attempts were high, wide, or blocked. The Navy and Gold's first shot on goal came in the 53rd minute by sophomore forward Maddi Cillay, but her shot was saved by College of Idaho keeper Brittany Houghton.
In overtime, EOU had a chance to score first, but Forsyth's shot in the 95th minute sailed over the crossbar.
The Yotes edged the Mountaineers in the shot department, 16-13.
