WOMEN'S QUICK HITS
* The Mountaineers are ranked No. 4 in this week's NAIA Div. 2 coaches' poll (Feb. 5, 2013), moving one spot up from last week's poll.
* The Mountaineers are currently on a 19 game win streak and are yet to be defeated in conference play.
* Brooke Randall was named the Red Lion Player of the Week this week (Feb. 4, 2013).  She is also ranked no. 9 in NAIA Div. 2 in assist/turnover ratio.
* Eastern is currently ranked No. 2 in Division II in total assists and in scoring defense per game.
* Kelsea Hurliman currently leads the conference in 3-pt. field goals made per game and is ranked No. 10 in NAIA Div. 2.
* EOU was voted to win their conference in the pre-season coaches' poll this year.

THE SERIES
* The last time they played, EOU defeated C of I 57-53.
* Eastern has faced the Yotes 39 times, C of I is leading the series22-18.
* The first time that Eastern faced C of I was during 1996.

MEN'S QUICK HITS
* The Mountaineers are currently ranked No. 1 in this week's NAIA Div. 2 coaches' poll (Feb. 5, 2013), for the fifth week in a row.
* EOU has had a 26-1 start this season, seven wins more than their overall wins last year.
* Eastern is currently ranked No. 1 in Division 2 in rebound margin and total rebound offense.
* JD Esters is currently ranked 8th in Division II in Total Assists and 9th in assists per game.  He also leads the CCC in assists.
* The Mountaineers are selected to finish second in the Cascade Collegiate Conference preseason coaches' poll and are currently ranked 4th in the Nation on the coaches' poll.
* Anthony Brown, Jason Mumm, Cody Thurmond, and Trent Roos have all been selected on the preseason poll to be on the all conference team.

THE SERIES
* The Mountaineers have played College of Idaho 169 times, C of I is leading the series 103-64.
* EOU won the last game this season 60-45 after sweeping last year's contests.
* Their first meeting was in 1934.
