Mountaineers Extend Win Streak To Twenty-One

Portland, Ore. – Eastern Oregon guard Kelsea Hurliman scored 26 points Friday night as the Mountaineers defeated Warner Pacific 66-50 at C.C. Perry Gym.
 
Junior guard Nicole Redd  added 17 points for EOU, which improved to 27-2 overall and a perfect 17-0 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.

In the opening minutes of the game Warner Pacific came out hot and took a commanding  8-0 lead. EOU would finally get their offense going when Hurliman knocked down a jumper with 15:32 on the clock. Several posseions later Hurlimann and Randall would hit back to back threes to put EOU ahead 24-19 with 7:30 left to play in the half. The Mountaineers stretched their lead to 7 taking a 39-32 lead into halftime.  
 
The Mountaineers used an early second half run to push their lead to double-digits, leading 52-40 midway through the half. Eastern widened the margin to 18 late in the game as they cruised to a 66-50 victory.
 
The Mountaineers finished shooting 25-of-56 (54%) from the field and  8-of-17 (47%) from downtown, while Warner Pac shot 17-of-50 (37%) from the field and  6-of-23 (27%) from downtown.
