No. 25
After going 2-0 last weekend, the Mountaineers feel to No. 25 in the tenth edition of the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches Top 25 Poll. Eastern Oregon has been ranked in the Top 25 all season and has been as high as ninth.
Second In CCC
For the second-straight year, Eastern Oregon has finished second in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. They finished a game behind first place College of Idaho. The Mountaineers were picked to finish second in the CCC this season behind College of Idaho.
Conference Tournament
Friday, Nov. 15, the Mountaineers play in its first CCC Tournament came of the 2013 season. They will play in the first semifinals game against Concordia. The Cavaliers advanced to the semifinals by sweeping Oregon Tech on Tuesday afternoon. EOU match is set to start at 3 p.m. PT. The second semifinals matchup is Southern Oregon University vs. College of Idaho. Southern Oregon defeated Northwest Christian to make it to the semifinals. Southern Oregon verse College of Idaho is set to face each other at 6 p.m. PT. The winners of the two matches will square off on Saturday, Nov. 16 in the CCC Championship match at 3 p.m. MT.
Last Time Verse Concordia
The last time the Mountaineers squared off against the Cavaliers was Oct. 25. Eastern Oregon came away with a 3-1 (22-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-10) victory. This was the second victory for Eastern Oregon over Concordia on the season.
Final Coaches' Poll
The final Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll will be released on Sunday, Nov. 16. This poll will determine if the Mountaineers will advance to its first ever appearance in the NAIA National Championship. The Mountaineers can clinch an automatic berth to the national championship by winning the conference tournament this weekend.
