WOMEN'S QUICK HITS:
* The Mountaineers are #6 in NAIA Div. 2 in this week's coaches' poll (Jan. 15, 2013), moving two spots up from last week's poll.
* EOU was also voted to win their conference in the Pre season poll this year.

* Anthony Brown, Jason Mumm, Cody Thurmond, and Trent Roos have all been selected on the preseason poll to be on the all conference team.
* Eastern is currently ranked 1st in Division 2 in rebound margin and 2nd in total rebound offense.
* JD Esters is currently ranked 10th in Division II in Total Assists and 11th in assists per game.  He also leads the CCC in assists.
* Tony Eackles Jr. leads the CCC in 3-pt field goal percentage.

THE SERIES
* The Mountaineers have played OIT 162 times, the Owls leading the series 97-65
* EOU won the last contest this season 75-73, their first win at OIT in 33 years.
