No. 10 Eastern Women Pick Up Win in Florida

Babson Park, Fla. - The Eastern Oregon University women's basketball team defeated Webber International University, 72-66.
 
EOU was led by senior Brook Randall's 21 points and senior Korrie Bourn's near double- double with 9 points and 12 rebounds.
 
In the first half the Mountaineers jumped out to an early 7-0 from a tip in by Jorrie Freeman.  EOU then extend their lead to 10 with 10:28 on the clock from a jumper by Randall. The Warriors closed the gap to three with 5:06 to play, but EOU would go on a run and extend their lead back to 10, going into the half up 33-26.
 
In the second half the Mountaineers came out more aggressive out scoring Webber in second chance points 15-4. EOU shot 10 of 33 in the second half going 3 of 10 from behind the arc. The Mountaineers would shoot 24 free throws in the second half, connecting on 16.
 
WIU was led by Sarah Dileonardo's 17 points and 6 rebounds while teammate Jesenia Lora chipped in 16 points.
 
Eastern women will play again tomorrow against Warner University (Fla.) at 5 p.m. ET before traveling home to take on Westminster College on Nov. 23rd in Caldwell, Idaho. Live stats and video will be made available at EOUsports.com.
