College Place, Wash. – The No. 10 ranked Eastern Oregon women's basketball team defeated Walla Walla University, 84-32.
Eastern (3-0, 0-0 CCC) was led by senior
Korrie Bourn with 13 points on 5 of 7 shooting, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

Chayla Jones scored 12, 12 and 11 points respectively.
At half the Mountaineers led by 26 points, 39-13. The second half scoring comparison matched the first half of play, as they again outscored the Wolves (0-1) by 26, this time 45-19.
“I'm really proud of the team and how unselfish they were tonight,” said head coach
Anji Weissenfluh. “There was a high level of execution, solid defense and a commitment to get better. Overall we used tonight to get better as a team.”
The Mountaineers defense was s. They caused 26 turnovers, recorded 15 steals and outrebounded Walla Walla, 45-33.
EOU shot 31-68 (46%) from the field , 7-17 (41%) from behind the arc and went 15-20 from the charity strip.
The Wolves were led by Dani Carlman with 11 points, 3 assists and 4 rebounds. Giselle Schmitz added 6 points and 5 rebounds.
Eastern will travel to Spokane to take on Gonzaga University this Saturday, November 3
