LA GRANDE, Ore. -- The Eastern Oregon University men's basketball team welcomes No. 11 Northwest University and The Evergreen State College Friday and Saturday for Retro Weekend in Quinn Coliseum.

THE SERIES
* EOU holds a 22-14 advantage over Northwest in the all-time series.
* The Mountaineers are 16-10 versus NU since 2000, and have won six of the past eight.
* Eastern won all three games last year over the Eagles. Each game featured two top 20 teams.
* Eight of the last 12 games against NU have been decided by single digits.
* Eastern Oregon owns the all-time series, 14-12.
* Eastern has won five straight games over the Geoducks.

Ervin Felder is 10th in the nation in offensive rebounds per game with 3.5.

ABOUT THE EAGLES
Northwest is two wins shy of its third consecutive 20-win season at 18-2. The Eagles are third in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, and one of three conference teams in the national top-11. The experienced roster full of upperclassmen, including four starting seniors, have excelled this season at sharing the ball and making their shots from behind the arc. NU is third in NAIA Div. 2 in assist to turnover ratio. Northwest is also fifth in the country in assists per game with 17.3. The Eagles are also seventh and ninth in the nation in field goal percentage defense (.404) and scoring margin (14.3). Rich Skillman leads the conference in steals and is second in the country in steals per game (3.1) and total steals (63). The Eagles have six players averaging over nine points per game, led Jordan Call's 14.8 per outing.

ABOUT THE GEODUCKS
The Evergreen State College has struggled so far this season winning only one of its first 20 games. The Geoducks have yet to win a Cascade Collegiate Conference game. TESC has also been plagued with injuries this season and have been playing with a limited roster for much of the year. Patrick Lewis leads Evergreen with an average of 11.75 points and 7.65 rebounds per game. He is eighth in NAIA Div. 2 in offensive rebounds per game (3.7). Travis Wagner is throwing 1.95 assists per game and making 2.65 three-pointers per outing, which is second in the conference. The Geoducks are 10th in the country in three-pointers made per game with 8.7. TESC is also 11th in the nation in total three-pointers made this season with 175. Evergreen shoots an average of 29.2 three-pointers per contest.
