LEWISTON, Idaho -- The No. 10 Eastern Oregon University women's basketball team takes the school's highest ever ranking to No. 5 Lewis-Clark State College Saturday in a non-conference battle between a pair of top 10 teams.

ABOUT THE WARRIORS
Lewis-Clark State enters the game winners of eight of their first nine games. The lone loss was a 54-45 setback at then-ranked No. 1 Azusa Pacific in California. The Warriors are off to yet another great start under Brian Orr, who is in his 11th year as head coach. He has a .772 winning percentage as head coach at LCSC. The Warriors have eased through the season so far by beating opponents by a an average of 25.4 points, which is fourth in NAIA Div. 1. Lewis-Clark State is averaging 49 rebounds per game, which is also fourth in the nation. It boasts the second best rebound margin in the country at 13.6. Jasmine Stohr leads the Warriors averaging 21.2 points per game, fifth in NAIA Div. 1. The senior is making 49 percent of her shots from the field. Alyssa Fierro is ninth in the country grabbing 11 rebounds per outing. Brittaney Niebergall is averaging 3.78 assists and 3.22 steals per game.
