With the game tied at 51-51, the visiting Mountaineers outscored the Knights 8 to 4 in the final minute of the contest, which included a perfect six for six from the free throw line.

The game was a close fought battle the whole night as the score was tied seven different times during the action. Warner Pacific (4-4, 1-1 CCC) managed to forge a seven point advantage on two occasions, the last time early in the second period thanks to a Meaghan White jump shot. EOU proceeded to run off seven straight points to tie the game and the fight was on.

At the 3:53 mark, Chelsey Christensen scored a bucket inside to give the Knights a three point lead, but EOU responded with a three pointer from Miller. A few moments later, Randall gave the Mountaineers a three point advantage with a free throw, but WP counterpunched with a long trey from Layne Tucker with 1:02 on the clock.

That's when the well went dry for Warner Pacific, and Eastern Oregon pulled away with clutch shooting from the charity stripe including four makes from Miller.

Christensen led Warner Pacific with 14 points on 5 of 6 shooting from the field. Kelsey Mattsen added 12 points, while Meaghan White grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.
