CALDWELL, Idaho -- The No. 10 Eastern Oregon University men's basketball team travels to The College of Idaho for the Wendy's Classic for games against Montana Tech and Portland Bible. The weekly notes are now available.

ABOUT THE OREDIGGERS
Montana Tech enters the weekend 2-0 after getting a pair of exhibition wins over Grand Prairie Regional College to open the season. The Orediggers responded with back-to-back wins over Dakota Athletic Conference opponents, Black Hills State, 70-49, and Dickinson State, 70-67. Tech is led by AJ Paine. The senior averaged 14.5 ppg and four rebounds in the pair of wins. He hit 57 percent of his field goals and 90 percent of his free throws. Against Dickinson State, the Orediggers had trailed for the entire game when Paine hit a three-pointer that tied the game and propelled Tech to the three point victory. Second team All-Frontier Conference performer, Tyree Haynie, returns for Montana Tech. Haynie averaged 12.6 PPG and 2.2 APG in Frontier Conference play.

ABOUT THE WILDCATS
Portland Bible College features a unique lineup in 2011-12. The Wildcats have 11 players on their roster this season, and all 11 are listed as guards. PBC's tallest player is 6-1. Tim Mahan returns for his junior year after averaging 15.7 pts, 3.1 rebs, 2.8 assists per game in 2010-11. He was named first team All-Pacific Coast Conference. Portland Bible enters the weekend 2-2, but is 0-1 against the NAIA after a 60-50 loss to No. 18 Montana State-Northern.
