The first half featured three ties and four lead changes. A jumper by

The Mountaineers opened the second half on a 7-0 run to close the lead to three points. A Nelson field goal with 12:55 to play in regulation gave DU it's largest lead of the second
half, 52-45. Eastern slowly cut into the lead and took the lead back, 56-55, with 8:11 left in the game after a
Dan Stafford lay-in. The game was tied two more times, but EOU never fell behind again.
