2019 • Sophomore: Appeared in all 36 matches for Eastern and was a starter in 32 for a total of 117 sets played … Was second on the team and third in the CCC in total blocks with 134, while averaging 1.15 which ranked fourth in the CCC … Her 1.15 blocks per set ranked 19th in the NAIA, while her 134 total blocks ranked 21st … Tallied a then career-high 10 total blocks on Oct. 11 against Corban (Ore.) … Offensively, Taylor had nine matches where she posted double figure kills, including a career best 17 against Corban (Ore.) on Oct. 11 … Ranked third on the team in kills with 255 and was second in kills per set and hitting percentage at 2.18 and .254, respectively … Was named CCC Attacker of the Week (Sept. 2) … Garnered CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team honors and was selected to the U.S. Bank CCC All-Academic Team for her work in the classroom.
2018 • Freshman: Appeared in 24 matches while being named a starter in 11 for 59 total sets played … Finished fifth on the team in total blocks with 68 and averaged 1.15 blocks per set … Had a season-high eight blocks on Oct. 12 against Warner Pacific (Ore.) … racked up 76 kills on the offensive end and averaged 1.29 per set … Record a season best eight kills against Bushnell on Oct. 27.
In High School: Was a four-year varsity letterwinner at Rigby High School under Coach Crystal Hanson … Was named Team MVP as a junior and senior … Earned Honorable Mention All-Conference as a junior and was a Second Team All-Conference selection as a senior as well as being named Honorable Mention All-State … Competed in the District 5/6 All-Star Game as a senior … Also competed and lettered in track & field and basketball … Named to IDHSAA Girls Basketball All-State Tournament Team as a sophomore … Named Second Team All-Conference as a senior and was selected to the District 5/6 All-Star Game … Was a four-time District Meet winner and helped her team win the District Championship in 2015, 2016, and 2018 … A four-time state qualifier and was an eight-time state qualifying track medalist … Part of the 4x200-meter relay District Championship squad in 2015, 2016, and 2018 as well as the 4x400-meter relay District Championship team in 2018 … Helped her team earn a back-to-back State Runner-Up titles in 2015 and 2016 … Racked up three state medals in her prep career … Played club volleyball for Bonneville Volleyball Club … Helped lead her team to a Runner-Up finish at USA Junior Nationals in 2018.
