Assistant Coach | 7th Season

Brianne Hernandez brings years of coaching and athletic experience to the Eastern Oregon University volleyball program, where she currently serves as an Assistant Coach. Hernandez began her coaching career in 2013 and previously coached for EOU from 2013–2015 before returning to the staff in 2023. In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, she has coached multiple levels of club volleyball, helping young athletes develop their technical skills and love for the game. 

As a collegiate athlete, Hernandez competed in both Volleyball and Track & Field. She played Volleyball for three years at Lewis-Clark State College and competed in Track & Field for two years at Washington State University. Hernandez earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lewis-Clark State College in 2013.

Originally from Spokane, Washington, Hernandez has strong family ties to Eastern Oregon University—her husband and brother both played collegiate sports and graduated from EOU, with her husband competing in football and her brother in basketball.
