2017 (SOPHOMORE): Started and played in all 18 matches she appeared in on EOU historic run to winning the CCC regular and tournament title… recorded 11 shut outs… allowing only 8 goals against… tallying 64 saves… totaling 1,635 minutes on the field… 0.49 goals against average… first team All-CCC… Red lion player of the week honors…

2016 (FRESHMAN): Played in 7 matches while starting 1 of those 7… earning 3 shut outs… recording 6 saves in 2016… allowing only 2 goals against…

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Chiawana High School in 2016… Three-time all-conference honoree as a goalkeeper (2013-15)… Earned all-area honors her sophomore, junior, and senior campaigns… Four-year varsity starter… 2013 team MVP… Led team to a district title in 2015… Two-year team captain…

PERSONAL:  Born in Pasco, Wash., to Dave Cottrell and Nikki Ownbey… Has three siblings (Britny, Paige, Zach)… Hobbies include playing soccer, snowboarding, hiking, paddleboarding, socializing, longboarding, and lifting weights…

WHY I CHOSE EOU: I love the atmosphere of La Grande and the beautiful scenery. I like the size of EOU, the soccer program, and the chance to play with a successful team. I am excited to work with a coach who is going to push me to my limits.”
