In High School: Graduated from Curtis High School in 2019 where McGinnis was a 3 year varsity letterman, received the Coach's Award his senior year, and received Most Improved his junior year. 

Before EOU: Attended Tacoma Community College. Named 1st Team West Region. Top statistics were 15 points and 7 rebounds. 

Off the Court: Son of Joseph and Sarah McGinnis. Majoring in Business Administration. Enjoys golfing. Favorite food is steak. Favorite movie is White Chicks. Favorite book is Pound the Stone. Favorite musician is Drake.
