Personal- Born Jessica Lea on June 19, 1990 in Eugene, Oregon. Parents: Heidi Lea. Family: Zach 18. High School: Crook County High School. Major: Biology/Education. Chose Eastern Oregon because “I was able to play two sports, and the class sizes were small. I also enjoyed the small town vibe, made me feel at home.” Jessica’s aunt and uncle both gradated from Eastern and he mother Heidi played volleyball at the University of Oregon.

High School- Lea played volleyball, basketball, and track all four years of high school. While playing volleyball she was selected Rookie of the year 2004, 1^st  team All-League 2004-2007, 2^nd  Team All-State 2006, 1st Team All-State 2007, League player of the year 2007 and State player of the year 2007. Team was State Champions in 2006 and 2007. In basketball Lea was selected 1^st Team All-League 2006-2008.

College- In 2008 Lea was selected Rookie of the Year and the team tied for 3rd place in the Cascade Conference. In 2009 1st Team All-Conference and the team tied for 3rd place.

Off the Court- Favorite Sports Hero: Misty May. Hobbies: Reading, running, volleyball, studying and baking. Favorite Movie: Pretty Woman or Beauty and the Beast. Favorite Book: The Host by Jodi Picoult. Favorite Food: Italian or Chinese.
