2023 - Senior: McMurtrey played in all 36 matches for the Mounties in the 2023 season... Had an impressive 41 service aces on the year... Tallied 351 digs... Totaled 683 assists as the Mounties' starting setter, averaging 5.51 assists per set... Played a key role in the team becoming NAIA national semifinalists... Earned many awards on the season including multiple CCC setter of the week awards, NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete, and CCC Setter of the Year.
2022• Junior: Appeared in all 36 matches last season and totaled 128 sets played… Racked up 334 digs and 706 assists in the 2022 season... Posted 47 service aces and had 21 games with 20+ assists.
2021• Sophomore: Appeared in all 35 matches for the Mounties last season and totaled 127 sets… Posted 857 assists last season with a career high of 56 coming against Providence on Aug. 21… Racked up a total of 389 digs on the season and had 20 games with over 10 digs… Tallied up 32 service aces on the season with a season high of 5 being earned at Walla Walla.
2020 • Freshman: Appeared in 21 matches as a true freshman and played in 48 sets total ... Posted a career best 176 assists on the year and averaged 3.67 assists per set ... Posted double-digit assists in nine matches and had a career-high of 21 against Oregon Tech February 20, 2021 in the first matchup... Had a career-high of 83 digs on defense for year ... Posted a career best 11 digs in the second matchup against Oregon Tech on February 20, 2021 ... Posted her first career double-double of 20 assists and 11 digs in the second showdown against OIT on February 20, 2021 ... Averaged 1.73 digs per set.
In High School: Was a four-year letterwinner and three-time team captain at Bonneville High School under Coach Chantal McMurtrey … The setter was a four-time All-Area selection, earning Second Team honors in 2016 & 2017, and was a First Team selection in 2018 & 2019 … She garnered All-State honors her sophomore to senior year (2017-19) … McMurtrey also earned All-Conference honors four times in her prep career, with three being a First Team selection. She was named Max Preps Player of the Year four times as well … She is the All-Time leader in career aces (302), assists (4,819), and ranks 10th in career digs (1,009) at Bonneville High School … McMurtrey was part of four-straight Conference and District Championship teams (2016-19), as well as winning three State Championships in 2016, 2017, and 2019. Her squad was the State Runner-Up in in 2018 … Played her club volleyball for Bonneville Volleyball Club and was a seven-time national qualifier … She was a GJNC and Champions Challenge All-Tournament Team selection in 2018 … McMutrey also played basketball for two seasons (2016-18) as well as tennis (2018 & 2019).
Personal: Daughter of Alan and Chantal McMurtrey … Younger sister of Kiley McMurtrey who is also a member of the EOU Volleyball team … Is majoring in Exercise Science.
