2021 • Junior: Appeared in all 16 games for the Mounties last season and was tabbed a starter in nine of those matches… Balkenbush was a strong part of the Mounties offense last season, recording 4 goals and 1 assist… Balkenbush took 189 shots on the season with fourteen of those being shots on goal… Balkenbush also recorded two game winning goals on the season.
2020 • Sophomore: Appeared in all 13 games in her second season with EOU and was tabbed a started in 12 ... Scored one goal on the year, a gamewinner, against Northwest on February 28, 2021 ... Took 10 shots total and had five shots come on goal ... Garnered CCC Player of the Week honors once ... Named to the U.S. Bank CCC All-Academic Team for her work in the classroom.
2019 • Freshman: Played in 20 games as a true freshman and got the starting nod in two of those contests ... Scored two goals and tallied one assist for five points ... Took six shots total and had three come on goal ... Part of an offense that ranked 23rd in the NAIA in total goals and was 24th in total assists ... Tallied her first career assist on Nov. 2 against Warner Pacific and scored her first career goal on Nov. 3 against Multnomah.
In High School: Was a four-year varsity letterwinner at Freeman High School under head coach Dave Ellis ... Garnered All-Conference honors all four years of her prep career ... Was a First Team All-Conference selection as a senior and was named Co-Offensive Player of the Year for the league ... Was named Player of the Week four times ... Earned Second Team All-Conference honors from her freshman-junior year ... Helped lead her team to a District Championship in her senior season ... Also competed and lettered in track & field for one season ... Played club soccer for the Spokane Sounders.
