Personal- Born Emily Sampson on April 5, 1990 in Olympia, Washington. Parents: Richard and Mohona Sampson. Family: Karlee Jo 16. High School: Tumwater High School. Major: Business and Marketing. Chose Eastern Oregon because of volleyball. Emily’s relative Jan Dempsy played volleyball at Montana State and her grandfather played football at Notre Dame.
 
High School-. Sampson played volleyball all four years of high school being selected 1st team All-League her junior and senior year along with All-State her senior year.
 
Off the Court - Hobbies: Beach volleyball and singing. Favorite Movie: The Breakup. Favorite Musician: Jason Aldean. Favorite Food: Chocolate.
