McLean Morehead Named CCC Coach of the Year, Mack and Stidham Highlight All-Conference Honors

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University volleyball once again proved itself a Cascade Collegiate Conference powerhouse, headlined by CCC Coach of the Year Kaki McLean Morehead, McDonald's Player of the Year Kiauna Mack, and Co-Setter of the Year Kate Stidham, presented by UEN.

The Mountaineers collected six All-Conference honors on Thursday morning following a dominant 2025 campaign that featured a 26-2 overall record and an 18-2 mark in CCC play. EOU captured its fourth consecutive regular-season championship and earned the No. 1 national ranking five times throughout the year.

In her 19th season at the helm, McLean Morehead was recognized as CCC Coach of the Year after guiding EOU to its second-best record in program history. Under her leadership, the Mounties remained a fixture among the NAIA's elite, spending the entire season ranked in the top five nationally while continuing to set the standard for excellence in the conference.

Senior middle hitter Kiauna Mack (Puyallup, Wash.) capped off an outstanding regular season by being named CCC Player of the Year and earning First Team All-Conference honors. A dominant presence at the net, Mack led the conference in hitting percentage (.399) and blocks per set (1.61)—the latter ranking third nationally. She finished with 290 kills (3.02 per set), 155 total blocks, and 381.5 points (3.97 per set) while anchoring an EOU defense that held opponents to just a .116 hitting percentage. Mack led the Mounties in hitting and blocking and ranked second in kills and kills per set.

Junior Kate Stidham (Central Point, Ore.) made an immediate impact in her first season with the Mountaineers, earning Co-Setter of the Year honors alongside Walla Walla's Yaimaris Garcia and receiving All-Conference Honorable Mention. The Central Washington transfer directed one of the most efficient offenses in the nation, guiding EOU to a .285 team hitting percentage. Stidham totaled 561 assists (7.19 per set), 24 service aces, and 136 digs while recording three double-doubles. She led the team in assists and ranked third in both aces and digs.

Joining Mack on the All-CCC First Team were redshirt junior Keira Vaughn (Eugene, Ore.) and junior Brooke Womack (Sandy, Ore.).

Vaughn was a key offensive weapon, leading EOU with 315 kills (3.42 per set) and a .316 hitting percentage. She ranked third in the CCC in kills per set and second in hitting percentage behind Mack, while adding 58 digs, 48 blocks, and 341.5 points (3.71 per set).

Womack proved to be one of the most versatile players in the conference, contributing across all areas of the game. She notched 220 kills (2.42 per set), 288 digs (3.16 per set), 32 aces, and 53 blocks, ranking second on the team in digs and third in kills.

Junior right side/outside hitter McKenzie Jonas (Prineville, Ore.) earned Second Team All-Conference honors after a balanced season that included 181 kills (2.08 per set), a .258 hitting percentage, and 61 total blocks (0.70 per set). Jonas ranked fourth on the team in kills and third in blocking.

The Mountaineers now turn their focus to postseason play as they look to defend their conference title in the CCC Tournament. EOU is set to compete in the semifinal round on Friday, November 14, inside Quinn Coliseum.
