Volleyball CCC Tournament Preview

LA GRANDE, Ore. – For the fourth straight year, Eastern Oregon University volleyball has claimed the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular-season title and the right to host the CCC Championship Tournament, set for November 13-15 inside Quinn Coliseum.

As the No. 1 seed, the Mountaineers earn a bye into Friday's semifinals and will face the lowest remaining seed. That match is slated for 5 p.m., unless No. 7 seed Walla Walla advances—in which case, it will be played at 2 p.m.

Thursday's quarterfinals open with eighth-seeded Northwest taking on the No. 3 seed Bushnell at 2 p.m., followed by Walla Walla against fourth-seeded College of Idaho at 5 p.m. Winners will move on to face either Corban or EOU on Friday, with championship play scheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m. (or 5:30 p.m. if Walla Walla is involved).

Entering the week, the Mounties are back atop the NAIA Top 25 Poll as they prepare for their 14th consecutive and 23rd overall appearance in the conference tournament. Under 18th-year head coach Kaki McLean Morehead, Eastern looks to bring the tournament trophy back to La Grande for the fourth time in program history.

The Mountaineers capped the 2025 regular season at 26-2 overall and 18-2 in CCC play, the second-best record ever posted by the program. EOU currently leads the conference in kills per set (14.36), hitting percentage (.286), blocks per set (2.60), and points per set (19.1), while holding opponents to just a .116 attack percentage.

Keira Vaughn ranks third in the CCC with 3.45 kills per set, while Kiauna Mack leads the league in both hitting percentage (.399) and blocks per set (1.63).
