KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference continues to gain national attention as two teams were recognized in the latest NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released Wednesday by the national office.

Eastern Oregon University (11-0-4, 8-0-2 CCC), made program history this week, earning the No. 23 spot in the national rankings — the first official national ranking in team history. Carroll College (8-3-3, 6-2-2 CCC) also received votes in the poll.

The Mountaineers have put together an unbeaten season to date, remaining one of four undefeated teams in the NAIA. EOU's balance on both ends of the field has fueled its rise, combining a disciplined defensive unit with an attack that has produced consistent results throughout conference play. The Mounties currently sit atop the Cascade Collegiate Conference standings as the No. 1 team.

Eastern Oregon now turns its attention to the final stretch of the regular season as the Mounties travel to Northwest University and The Evergreen State College this weekend.
