KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the third consecutive rankings release, Eastern Oregon University volleyball retains its hold on the No. 1 spot in the nation, announced by the NAIA on Wednesday morning.
Still undefeated at 16-0 (8-0 CCC), the Mountaineers earned all 19 first-place votes for the second-straight time, totaling 510 points in the poll.
EOU has dominated its opponents all season long, dropping just six sets across 54 played. 13 of the team's wins have come against teams either ranked or receiving votes.

Redshirt junior
Keira Vaughn has also been a consistent offensive threat, leading the team with 170 total kills.
At the heart of the attack are setters
Kate Stidham (7.04 assists/set) and
Ava Semprimoznik (4.71 assists/set), both of whom have earned at least one CCC Setter of the Week honor this season.
Defensively, sophomore Libero
Jaycee Villastrigo leads the team with 188 digs, while junior outside hitter
Brooke Womack has proven to be a versatile weapon, topping the team in service aces (24), ranking second in digs (173), and third in kills (145).
Looking ahead, the Mounties travel to face No. 15 College of Idaho tonight in Caldwell. They return home on Saturday to host Warner Pacific before entering the second half of conference play.
