Mounties Drop Both to No. 1 Hustlin’ Owls

KLAMATH FALLS- Ore.- No. 25 ranked Eastern Oregon was back in action Friday afternoon as they traveled to Klamath Falls, Ore. to take on the No. 1 ranked Hustlin' Owls of Oregon Tech. OIT ultimately took both games of the double header by a score of 3-2 in game one and 7-1 in game 2.

GAME 1

OIT jumped out to an early lead in game one after a Jayce Seavert single drove in one run giving the Hustlin Owls a 1-0 lead. OIT did not go away, a Maggie Buckholz double to left center scored one, tying the game up at 2-2. Oregon Tech then regained the lead after a Puakea Milbourne sacrifice fly scored Maddie DeVerna. The run proved to ultimately be the difference as the Hustlin' Owls closed out the Mounties in the seventh taking game one by a score of 3-2.
