CALDWELL, Idaho - Eastern Oregon was back in action Tuesday evening as they took on the No. 12 ranked Yotes of the College of Idaho in a mid-week Cascade Collegiate Conference double header. The Mounties split the day with the Yotes, taking game one, 1-0 in 10 innings and dropping game two, 10-1 in six innings.
GAME 1
EOU was led once again in the circle by Kaylie Hoskins. Hoskins went the distance, throwing all 10 innings for the Mounties while adding 17 strikeouts and only giving up three hits. The scoreless game was the byproduct of great pitching from both sides but the 0-0 tie was finally broken in the top of the 10th inning as a sacrifice fly from Haley Tyree and some Yote errors scored Truh Merriman. The Mounties closed out the Yotes in the bottom of the 10th to take game 1, 1-0.

Standout Performances
GAME 2
Eastern jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after a Truh Merriman double scored Addison Ribordy in the top of the second but the Yotes got hot. Scoring four in the bottom of the second, they never looked back ultimately taking game 2, 10-1 in six innings.
