Box Score KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - In a closely fought Cascade Conference battle, the Eastern Oregon men's basketball team lost their first conference game against Oregon Tech on the road in Klamath Falls.
The Owls shot 57.1% from the field and 50% from beyond the arc on their way to an 84-74 victory. Eastern Oregon found their rhythm from a distance as well, knocking down 8 three-pointers at a 42.1% accuracy rate. However, Oregon Tech controlled the glass with 35 total boards.
Leading the offensive charge, Garrett Hawkes stood out with an impressive performance, contributing 22 points on 8-of-14 field goals, including four three-pointers. Adam Orr also played a significant role throughout the game, connecting on three triples. Jaden Hansen displayed excellent playmaking skills with 8 assists, while Brennen Newsom scored an efficient 14 points on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting.
Kam Osborn was an offensive force for the Owls, tallying 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting and three three-pointers. Jamison Guerra orchestrated the offense with 14 points and 9 assists. The frontcourt was led by Keegan Shivers, recording 5 points and 11 rebounds, and Blake Jensen with 12 points and 9 rebounds.
