LA GRANDE. Ore. - The Eastern Oregon Women's Wrestling team kicked off their season on Saturday with a dual against The Evergreen State College. Eastern ultimately took the dual by a score of 26-12. 

Eastern gained 20 of their 26 team points from forfeited matches by the Geoducks. Anna Rodriguez from EOU claimed an 8-6 decision victory over Erica Grant in the 130-pound division awarding Eastern three team points. Liv Wieber added three more points to the Mounties score with an 11-4 decision victory over Flor Parker Borrero in the 155-pound division.
