NAMPA, IDAHO- The Mountaineers were back in action Friday afternoon as they traveled to Nampa, Idaho to take on Carl Albert State College in a neutral site dual. The Mounties showed to be too much for the Vikings of Carl Albert ultimately taking the dual 35-17.

Eastern fell behind early as the Vikings took the first two matches of the dual. The Mounties found their groove as Paige Chafin sparked a string of three consecutive pins allowing for the Mounties to take a commanding lead. The Mounties who followed Chafin with pins were Erin Redford and Liv Weiber. The string of pins showed to be the difference for the Mounties in the dual as they never looked back and were able to cruise to a commanding win.

Eastern will be back in action Sunday, Jan. 8 as they travel to McMinnville, Ore. to compete in the Linfield Open.
