SALEM, Ore.- No. 16 Eastern Oregon was back in action Friday night as they took on the Warriors of Corban University. The Mounties showed to be too much for the warriors running away with the game, 85-53. This win improves EOU to 14-2 overall and 9-1 is Cascade Collegiate Conference play.
The first quarter was back and forth as both teams looked to find their groove early on. After one quarter of play the Warriors led the Mounties 15-14. Coming out in the second quarter Eastern looked to take control. Taking control is exactly what the Mountaineers did, a 32-7 second quarter run allowed for the Mounties to take a commanding 46-22 lead into the halftime break. 
Eastern continued their dominance in the second half behind a 24-12 third quarter that solidified the Mounties route to victory. Ultimately, EOU showed to have to much firepower for the Warriors, winning 85-53.
Eastern Oregon will be back in action Saturday, Jan. 14 as they take on Bushnell University in Eugene, Ore. Tip off is set for 3:00 PM.
