With the game one loss on day two, the Mounties record falls to 9-27 overall and 2-9 in league play.

• Through the first three innings the game was knotted at a 1-1 tie. UBC scored in the first on an RBI groundout, while an error by the 'Bird allowed Austin Gerding to score the first EOU run.
• The game went back in the T-Birds favor in the fourth as they produced four runs on a pair of hits and had help from an EOU error. An RBI single and a two RBI double made it a 4-1 game.
• The fourth run for UBC came on an infield error. The runner ultimately scored on an earned run to give the 'Birds a four-run edge, 5-1, going into the fifth.
• EOU responded in the top of the fifth, scoring two runs on three hits. UBC helped in the Mounties' scoring efforts as the team committed two errors.
• An RBI single by Garret Kollar through the left scored Brooks Dyer to make it a 5-2 score. A fielding error in the next at bat then scored Elliott Marks to get EOU within two, 5-3.
• The T-Birds got both runs back in the bottom of the fifth to stay in front by four, 7-3. A fielding error allowed the first run to score before double to left field scored the second run.
• The final run for the home team came in the sixth. After a leadoff strikeout, the T-Birds got three straight base hits to bring in their runner for an 8-3 lead.
• Eastern tacked on its final run in the top of the ninth. A leadoff error got Matt Garcia on as he advanced to second. A wild pitch got Garcia to third before Marks sacrifice fly scored him.
