KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The NAIA announced the 2022 Daktronics Men's and Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athletes on Thursday prior the National Championship set to take place tomorrow morning. Eastern Oregon University had six athletes make the list.
 
Only one runner on the men's team made the list in junior Hunter Nichols. The women's team tallied five athletes including senior Dierdre McKay, sophomore Emma Hollon, sophomore Jessica McDonald, Sophomore Kendall Bonzani, and senior Michelle Herbes.  
 
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
