OLYMPIA, Wash.- A night after going five sets with Northwest University, Eastern returned to dominant form sweeping Evergreen State College in three sets, 25-22, 25-22, 25-21. The win marks the Mounties nineteenth straight as they move to 18-1.
 
The Geoducks played the Mounties close and even held a lead late in the first set, but the Mounties offensive attack proved to be too much for Evergreen. A clean 13 kills in the first set at a .458 clip pushed EOU to a 25-22 set victory.
 
EOU followed the first set with a nearly identical second set. Evergreen and Eastern were neck and neck all the way to the 22-point mark before Eastern pulled away late once again to take another 25-22 victory with another 13 kills.
 
A big third set by Kara Clayton helped lead the Mounties to the set and match victory. Clayton posted five kills and two blocks to help the Mounties clinch the sweep, 25-21.
