LA GRANDE, Ore. – Mountaineer Women's Basketball returns home for the first time since mid-December. After COVID protocols gave Eastern Oregon forfeit home wins earlier this month, the team is ready to play on its home court for the first time in 2022.

• The Mountaineers (12-7, 9-2 CCC) will return for the first time in 2022 as they get set to host two in-state foes in Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon.
• Including forfeits, Eastern is currently on a four-game winning streak and has won eight of its last 10 games since December.
• Friday night's game against Oregon Tech will also be a White Out Night. Fans are encouraged to wear white for the game against the Hustlin' Owls.

• Spectators will be allowed at EOU sporting events, but masks will be required to be worn correctly (over mouth AND nose) at ALL indoor and outdoor events per state and local policy. This is subject to change at any time.
• Failure to comply with conference or institutional attendance policies will result in removal from venue and any further EOU contests.

Last Time Out
• In what was their first weekend doubleheader since mid-December, Eastern had no problem shaking off any rust with a 2-0 sweep over Northwest and Evergreen State, respectively.
• At NU, the Mounties made a late comeback to win 83-79. Playing a role in the win was a pair of late three pointers by
Adyson Harris. She finished a career-high 28 points in the win.
• Against the Geoducks, a fast start propelled Eastern to the blowout win, 82-57. Four Mountaineers scored in double figures led by
Maddy Juul who had a career best of 21.

Oregon Tech Hustlin' Owls
• OIT comes to La Grande with a 14-4 overall record and is 7-4 in CCC play. On the road, the team has fared well with a 7-1 record and has an overall winning streak of six at the moment.
• Offensively, OIT is averaging 72.2 points per game and shoots 46.7% overall. They are a 37.2% three-point shooting team and are hitting 76.7% of their free throws.
• The Hustlin' Owls also average 15.5 assists per game. When it comes to taking care of the ball, they cough it up 17.2 times per game.
• Defensively, OIT is holding opponents to 55.3 points per game and allows just a 33.7 field goal percentage. They hold teams to just 25% from deep as well.
• Tech averages 44.0 rebounds per game and owns a margin of +15.1. They tally 7.5 steals per game to go along with 3.1 blocked shots per outing.

• Southern averages 13.8 assists per game, but coughs up the ball 15.2 times per game.

• Following the doubleheader weekend, Eastern will have a quick turnaround with a home game on Tuesday, Jan. 25 against Interstate-84 rival College of Idaho.
