LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University Women's Basketball picked up its fifth win of the season Sunday afternoon inside Quinn Coliseum as the Mountaineers took down George Fox University 81-64. The Mountaineers went 2-0 against the Bruins also winning 68-55 on Saturday afternoon.

• Eastern was quick out the gates scoring the game's first 10 points before the Bruins got on the board. George Fox responded after getting down and pieced together a 13-2 run to grab its first lead of the game at 13-12. From that point, the two teams traded buckets until the end of the first as George Fox held a slim 17-16 lead after one.
• The Bruins managed to push the lead to 22-18 in the early going of the second quarter before EOU went on an 8-3 run to regain the lead.

Adyson Harris who scored seven of the team's 15 points. Of her seven points, six came on a pair of deep triples to help pace the offense for EOU. The surge was enough to put EOU in front by 11 going into halftime.
• Coming out of the break, Eastern managed to hold a double-digit lead for much of the third quarter. The Bruins got within 10, 49-39, with 6:01 to play but the Mountaineers then went on a 15-0 run that lasted till the final 23 seconds of the third.
• A three-pointer from Harris got the run started, while
Taylor Stricklin scored five of the team's 15 points. The Bruins managed to end the run with a jumper before the quarter ended but was in a 64-41 hole going into the final 10 minutes of play.
• The Bruins managed to outscore the Mounties 23-17 in the final frame, but the 15-0 surge from EOU in the late stretch of the third was too much to overcome.
