CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Cascade Collegiate Conference has announced its 2021 All-Conference selections and Eastern Oregon University had four players make the list. 

Earning All-CCC honors were Morgan Farrington, Sarah Mitchell, Erika Skindlov, and Yahaira Chavarria-Mondragon. Both Farrington and Mitchell were named First Team All-CCC, while Skindlov was named Second Team All-CCC. Mondragon was the lone Honorable Mention All-CCC selection for EOU.

Farrington had a record breaking year in 2021 as she once again paced the EOU offense. She started all 15 regular season games for EOU and led the way in points, goals, and assists. She scored seven goals and dished out two assists for 16 points. Farrington finished the regular season with 34 shots taken and had 19 come on goal. Along the way, she also broke the EOU career record for goals scored with 30. Her mark surpassed the record of 29 set by Kristen Rice (2003-06). Of the seven goals scored this season, she had three of them be gamewinners. This is Farrington's third career All-CCC honors and second as a member of the First Team.

Mitchell was once again an anchor on the Mountaineers' defense. She appeared in 13 games and was a starter in 10 of those contests. She played all 90 minutes in multiple contests and was part of a defense that allowed just 13 goals during the regular season and posted nine shutouts. The Mountaineers nine shutouts were third most in the league during the regular season. For Mitchell, this is her fourth straight All-CCC honor and second in a row as a First Team selection. 

Skindlov earned Second Team honors once again as a Midfielder as she was a key component on both sides of the ball for the Mountaineers. Defensively, she was part of an EOU unit that posted the third most shutouts in the regular season with nine. She also scored one goal and dished out an assist for three points. She appeared in all 15 games and was tabbed a starter in 14 contests. Her lone goal of the season was also a gamewinner. For Skindlov, she has now been tabbed All-CCC each of the last two seasons.

Mondragon was another key piece of the Mountaineers defense during the regular season. She appeared in all 15 games for the Mountaineers and was named to the starting lineup in 14 contests. She played all 90 minutes in nearly every game and was able to score her first career goal during the season as well. For Mondragon, this is her first career All-CCC honor. 

The Mountaineers' 2021 season continues this week with the CCC Tournament. EOU is the No. 5 seed and played No. 4-seeded Northwest tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 9 in Springfield, Ore. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. PT for the quarterfinals match. Should the Mountaineers win, they will advance to the semifinal round and face the winner of No.1 Oregon vs. No. 8 Carroll College on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. PT.
