CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Cascade Collegiate Conference has announced its 2022 preseason baseball coaches' poll. Eastern Oregon University is picked to finish sixth in the poll.
The Mountaineers picked up 13 points in the poll and finished just ahead of new baseball member Bushnell University who racked up 10 points. EOU was picked sixth after finishing the 2021 season 5-31 overall and 5-27 in CCC play.
Picking up the No. 1 preseason spot was Lewis-Clark State College. The Warriors were the unanimous favorite picking up all seven first-place votes and totaling 49 points. Being picked second was University of British Columbia, who opted out of the 2021 season due to COVID-19. Rounding out the top-three was Oregon Tech with 35 points.
