REDDING, Calif. – Eastern Oregon softball fell in its final game of the Simpson Triangular, 11-1 at Simpson on Monday morning.

The Mountaineers fell behind early in the first inning as the Redhawks took a 1-0 lead. Simpson broke the game open with five runs in the third and fourth innings to go ahead 11-0.

EOU scored a run in the top of the fifth as freshman ALlaina Carson brought home Taylor Dow on a sacrifice fly to account for the Mounties lone run of the day.
