Mountaineers Drop Exhibition at Division I Utah Valley

OREM, Utah. – The Eastern Oregon men's basketball team fell 97-52 in an exhibition contest at Division I opponent Utah Valley on Monday night.
 
With it being an exhibition game, the Mountaineers (8-0) used 13 different players with 12 playing at least 12 minutes. Sophomore guard Max McCullough, freshman guard Jordan May and redshirt freshman Peter Hamilton led the team with nine points apiece.
 
The Blue and Gold shot 29.2 percent from the field, hitting on 19 shots and six three-pointers. The Wolverines hit on 60.3 percent of their shots with 58 in the paint.
 
The Mountaineers will next be action in Cascade Collegiate Conference play, visiting rival Southern Oregon on Dec. 2 in Ashland, Oregon. EOU continues the road trip on Dec. 3
