Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – The EOU women's soccer team attempted a second half comeback Friday afternoon after falling behind Northwest, 3-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament play.
However, time ran out on the Mountaineers and two second stanza goals were not enough to push EOU (9-6-3, 6-3-2 CCC), past the Eagles who slipped past the Blue and Gold, 3-2.
Northwest (11-5-2, 6-3-2 CCC), scored the first three goals of the match, the first coming in the 16th minute while the next two came in the 57th and 58th minute.

Zoe Anderson notched her fourth goal of the season. However, with such little time remaining, EOU could not put together another scoring drive, ending the 2016 campaign.

Natalie Mitchell led the Mountaineers in shots, with each player taking three.
