Senior quarterback Zach Bartlow rushed for two touchdowns in a 45-40 victory over then-ranked No. 2 Southern Oregon on Sept. 3, including a critical 10-yard rush into the end zone to give EOU a 45-34 lead with 1:59 left in the fourth quarter. Southern Oregon recovered an onside kick and had a chance to score in the winding moments, but senior defensive backs John Payne and Jesus Retano broke up potential touchdown passes to seal the victory.

CAMP VS. THE RAIDERS
Camp is 4-9 (.308) all-time against Southern Oregon. Under Camp, the Mountaineers are 2-4 in Ashland, Ore.

EOU'S LAST TIME OUT
EOU snapped a two-game losing skid after taking down MSU-Northern, 52-31, on Oct. 8 in Havre, Mont. Led by a veteran quarterback in Bartlow, the Mountaineers tallied a season-high 548 yards of total offense and issued a balanced attack to seal the victory. Bartlow went 19-for-27 passing for 325 yards and four touchdowns, and he also added 43 yards on the ground and one rushing touchdown to move into sole possession of second place all-time in program history for career rushing touchdowns.

Junior wide receiver Joshua Richards caught four passes for 96 yards, while senior running back Alfred Gross recorded 56 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Senior linebacker Tucker Stanley logged 11 tackles (four solo), and sophomore punter/kicker Nathan Harden, the reigning Frontier Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, drilled a 37-yard field goal and was a perfect 7-for-7 on PATs.

SOUTHERN OREGON'S LAST TIME OUT
Southern Oregon overcame a 20-point, third-quarter deficit to defeat No. 25 Rocky Mountain, 35-34, on Oct. 8 in Billings, Mont. Using three touchdown plays covering a combined 190 yards, the Raiders scored the last 21 points of the game and stole a one-point victory at Herb Klindt Field. Sean Tow's 51-yard touchdown with 2:19 left in the third brought the Raiders back to life, and touchdown passes of 73 and 66 yards from Jack Singler to Bronsen Ader in the fourth put Southern Oregon over the top on a day when the squad once appeared to be a lost cause.

Singler completed 19 of 27 passes for 299 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions, also hitting Jason Shelley four times for 69 yards. Devvon Gage starred for the Raider defense, making 14 tackles, including five for losses, and sharing a sack. Isiah Carter made nine tackles, while Armando Gauger, Sam Woods, Kalan Hoedl and Rogers got in on a sack apiece. Four of Southern Oregon's five Frontier Conference games have been decided by five points or less.
