Box Score EVERETT, Wash. – Senior forward Crystal Schuder registered her third two-goal performance of the 2015 campaign, and the Eastern Oregon University women's soccer team took care of Trinity Lutheran College, 3-0, on Friday afternoon.
The Navy and Gold (14-2, 8-2 CCC) netted all three goals in the opening stanza to put Trinity Lutheran to sleep.
While both of Schuder's goals came fairly early, freshman forward Zoe Anderson picked up a loose ball late in the first half and scored to give the Mountaineers plenty of breathing room. Sophomore midfielder Charli Torres notched her third assist of the year on Schuder's first score.
Three keepers saw action for the Navy and Gold, as junior Jessica Parker, junior Tessa Pitzer, and freshman Val Gaffney each contributed to the shutout.
EOU returns to action tomorrow for its final regular-season game against Warner Pacific in Portland, Ore., at 9 p.m.
