No. 14
Eastern Oregon continues to make school history each week as they continue to climb in the Tachikara-NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll. On Tuesday, the second regular season edition of the poll was released and EOU came in at No. 14, two spots higher than where they were last week. This is now the best ranking that the Mountaineers have held in school history.

Looking at the Opponents
Northwest Christian

The Beacans of Northwest Christian come into the match against EOU with a record of 9-3 and 3-1 in CCC action. Northwest Christian defeated New Hope College, 3-0, on Tuesday night. The Becans are led by Janel Fetters, who leads the team with 105 kills.
Corban
The Warriors of Corban University enter this weekend with a record of 2-11 and 0-4 in CCC action. Corban lost to Warner Pacific on Sept. 14 in its last match before this weekend. Claire Bailey leads the Warriors in kills with 105.

Recapping Last Week (Sept. 18)
Eastern Oregon went 3-0 last week with wins over Walla Walla, Northwest and Evergreen. The wins improved the Mountaineers record to 13-2 on the season and 3-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference action. EOU swept all three opponents last week.

Leading the CCC
Stefani Sorensen and Casey Loper are one, two in the CCC in kills. Sorensen leads the Mountaineers and CCC with 181 kills, while teammate Loper is nine kills behind with 172 on the season. Sorensen and Loper are also leading the conference in kills per set. Sorensen is averaging 3.5 kills per set, while Loper follows with an average of 3.3.
