Men's Basketball Weekly Notes: Multnomah

Scouting Multnomah
The Lions of Multnomah University come into the matchups with the Mountaineers with a 3-2 overall record. Multnomah a member of the NCCAA has scored over 100 points in each of its five games this season. The Lions have scored as high as 124 points this season. However, Multnomah has given up 100 plus points in each game expect for once when the Lions held its opponents to 70 points.

Last Season Verse Multnomah
Last season the Mountaineers opened up the season against Multnomah. Eastern Oregon won both of the games. The first night EOU scored 126 points and held the Lions to 58 points. Eastern Oregon scored 67 points in the first half of the first game. EOU held Multnomah to shoot 30 percent from the floor for the game and shot over 50 percent. The next day EOU defeated Multnomah, 109-79. The Mountaineers shot 57.5 percent in the first half to build an 18 point lead and never looked back.

Native American Day
November 9th at the EOU Men's Basketball game. It will be Native Night!

Quinn Classic
On Nov. 1st and 2nd EOU hosted the Quinn Classic. The Mountaineers were victorious in both of its games over the weekend. In EOU's first game, the Mountaineers defeated NAIA Division I Carroll College, 80-67. The next day EOU defeated Walla Walla University, 72-61.

Rebounding Margin
EOU ranks second in the CCC in rebounding margin. The Mountaineers are outrebounding its opponents by 12.8 rebounds per game. The Mountaineers have not been outrebounded in a game this season.
