Box Score

SPOKANE, Wash. – The No. 23 Carroll College women's soccer team defeated Eastern Oregon University, 4-0, at the Red Lion Cascade/Frontier Conference Challenge.

The Saints (4-0-0) remained unbeaten this season with the victory, and left the challenge as the only unbeaten team this weekend. Carroll has a four game win streak over the Mountaineers, and has outscored EOU 38-5 all-time.

Paige Williams opened the scoring in the fourth minute of the game. She took an assist from Kelsey Dye and struck a ball 40 yards out off of a corner kick. Eleven minutes later Kristyn Bohlander knocked in a rebound off of an EOU save.

After leading 2-0 at halftime, Carroll's Haley Jensen found the back of the net just 36 seconds into the second half. Jensen flicked a ball over an outstretched Eastern goalkeeper. In the 64th minute, Cassie Baldwin one-timed a shot in from a cross from Jensen.

The Saints outshot Eastern, 15-1. Dennin McKinley took five shots for Carroll, while Baldwin put three on goal. The Mountaineers' Kailey Moss made four saves in the loss. Carroll had two corner kicks, while EOU took zero. Both teams committed six fouls.

The Mountaineers (0-5-0) have off until they travel to Caldwell, Idaho, to face Carroll in a rematch, again on a neutral field. Live stats will be on EOUSports.com.
