EASTERN OREGON NOTEWORTHY
• Eastern is projected to start five underclassmen this weekend, including three freshmen.
• The Mountaineers will be looking for their second road win in the last 12 contests. EOU has lost 10 of the last 11 road games, with the lone victory being a 6-2 win at Great Falls last season.
• Eastern scored four goals on the road in 2011, with two of them coming at UGF.
• Eastern Oregon has won all four of its all-time meetings with Great Falls.
• The Mountaineers have lost all four all-time meetings against Rocky Mountain. The last being a 1-0 setback in 2008.
• Eastern has lost four of its past five season openers with the last win coming in 2008, a 3-1 victory at Northwest Nazarene.
