Box Score

The Eastern Oregon volleyball team lost in today's Cascade Conference Championship game to the College of Idaho 0-3 (25-27, 27-29, 20-25).

The  two teams split in conference play this year with each team winning on their homw court.

In the first set the Mountaineers would extend the lead to as much as six points before the Yotes would close the gap and tie the set at 24 a piece. A couple of quick kills by College of Idaho's Jessica Peacock and Kylee Nawahine would finish the set 27-25 in favor of the Yotes.

Set two was a battle much like the first as the two teams would continue to fight for points before Eastern would force College of Idaho to call a time out with the set at 21-20 EOU.  Out of the time out the teams would tie the match six more times before C of I would take the win 29-27.

College of Idaho came out in the third set and extended their lead to as much as seven before Eastern would work to close the gap to as little as three, 17-14. C of I would then go on a five point run and keep the momentum to finish the game 25-20.
