Mountaineers Fall to The Geoducks

La Grande, Ore. – Eastern Oregon Women's soccer team loses to Evergreen State College 2-0 Saturday afternoon.
 
Erika Whitehurst took 5 shots for the Mounties with 2 of those being on target. Courtney Randall added two shots with one coming on goal. Goal keeper Moss made 4 saves on the day
 
Much like yesterdays match, the Mountaineers (1-13-0) played well throughout the game, but couldn't put the ball in the back of the net. The Mountaineer defense would go 72 minutes without allowing a goal.
 
At the 72:24 mark Bianca Flores for the Geoducks(1-10-1) dribbled up the right side of the field and snuck the ball passed goalkeeper Moss from 25 yards out.
 
With under a minute to play, Sophie Krauza assisted Rayna Murphy as she chipped the ball over Moss from 5 yards.
 
Eastern took a total of 10 shots on the day, 3 of those beingg on target, while Evergreen took 13, 6 of those being on target. EOU took 3 corner kicks while Evergreen had zero attempts.
