Box Score La Grande, Ore. – The Eastern Oregon Men's Basketball team defeated Multnomah Bible College 126-58, in their home opener Friday night at Quinn Coliseum.
Trent Roos (Salem, Ore./ Chemekata CC) was the high point man for the Mountaineers with 19. Roos shot 6 of 13 from the field four of those coming from behind the arc. The Mountaineers had nine out of eleven players score in double digits on the night. Junior transfer
Tony Eackles Jr. (Las Vegas, Nev. / Alcorn State) was two assist and one rebound away from a triple double.

Michael Crane (Glenns Ferry, Idaho/Walla Walla CC) stole the ball and took flight down the lane and dunked over a Multnomah player.
EOU would lead at half, 67-26.
The Mountaineers hit 17 threes in the game and shot 51% from the field, while holding Multnomah to 30% from the field. EOU forced 18 turnovers on the night and out rebounded Multnomah by 43.
Seth Coleman led Multnomah in scoring with 13. Bryn Cumberland and Austin Hodges both chipped in 10 and had five and four assists respectively.
