NOTEWORTHY
• Eastern Oregon has never began Cascade Conference play 4-0, it needs a weekend sweep to become the first team to accomplish the feat.
• EOU swept the opening weekend of CCC play for the third straight season.
• Under Kaki Morehead, the Mountaineers have won two straight over Corban, including six straight sets.
• EOU has won seven of the eight matches against the Warriors under Morehead. The lone loss came on Oct. 25, 2008, in Salem, 3-1.
• The Mountaineers are 8-1 all-time against Northwest Christian.
• The Beacons' lone victory over EOU was the first meeting between the schools on Sept. 21, 2007, 3-1, in Eugene.
• Eastern responded by winning the next 24 consecutive sets.
• After last weekend's win, the Mountaineers still have never lost to Evergreen State under Kaki Morehead. A perfect record of 10-0 and 30 straight sets won.
• Eastern Oregon is 18-4 against TESC over the last 10 years.
• Eastern has won 34 straight sets over the Geoducks, dating back to Oct. 14, 2005.
• EOU has won 45 of the last 47 sets against Evergreen.
